STORY MODE
Player is a young archeologist stumbling apon an untouched Viking-village on the island Gotland, Sweden.
As he enters the Chief tomb he discoveres two small Cryptex which when solved opens up a door and also reveals a piece of a stonetablet. The stonetablet actually has ancient egyptian hieroglyphs engraved on it and as the player moves forward into the tomb he will find more and more pieces of this tablet. Once completed the tablet will point out a secret ancient temple in Egypt and the player will move to this new world to explore further.
The same situation will now repeat itself starting in Northem Mythology environment, Ancient Egypt, Mayaculture, Stoneage Africa and then to point out Atlantis (which will be a frozen city in Arctis). Maybe we put in some aliens in the end that inspired all these cultures and binded them together with the Cryptexes and Tablets.. we'll see about that.
The actual gameplay will have this order:
Tutorial
Story briefing
- 2d art ( maybe 2 -3 pics) will explain the background for the story and place the player at the entrance of the grave.
- Show map. All worlds will have one 2D-map on a parchment where a blipping cursor shows the players current location and reveal more as he/she progresses in the world
Gameplay
- Player must now complete 2 levels. If he/she fails the only options will be to retry or go back to main menu. Sometimes ingame the female partner or the professor will give hints or talk about something that brings the story going.
Reward
- After the 2 levels are finished the player will recieve a 1/5 piece of the stonetablet. Stonetablet will have inscriptions and symbols giving hints about the next world.
