Most texture documents I have sent to the textureartists and will remain offline.
But I want to show some examples of different sizes of maps.
Most of the time I want you all to work with texturemaps 512 * 512. With that size we can be pretty sure that all details will be visible at a proper distance. On the unit we will probably shrink some textures when packaging the game but for now, keep the sizes as big as possible.
Eg. On the Defendercannon there is no visible difference between 128, 256 or even 512 when in battledistance (the view that unit mostly will be in when battling).
Only when zooming in to a close distance you can see clear differences between 128 and 256. Between 256 and 512 there isnt even so much difference (due to my lack of detail texturing skills I presume ;) ) so this one will be shrinked to 256 in the endphase.
